Nestled along the Hillsborough River in Tampa, Old Seminole Heights is a historic neighborhood of 1920s bungalows and eclectic restaurants and shops. The neighborhood boasts riverfront parks, a wonderful public library, and friendly, diverse neighborhood activities. The area’s public and private schools have strong ratings. Beautiful, historic Hillsborough High School has one of only four International Baccalaureate programs in the county. The high school’s beautiful front park is home to the neighborhood’s pop-up Sunday morning farmers and artisans market.
Seminole Heights is conveniently located in Tampa’s urban core just a few minutes north of Downtown with easy access to Ybor City’s nightlife, Lowry Park Zoo, the Straz Performing Arts Center, and the Port of Tampa’s cruise terminals, as well as the hockey arena, football, and baseball stadiums. In addition to nearby Tampa’s amenities, Seminole Heights is home to an ever-growing number of retail shops, services, independent restaurants, and a growing craft beer movement. Several of our restaurants have even made the James Beard list. Check out the compilation below for just a small sampling of what your new neighborhood has to offer!
